LF_Clips (“we”, “us”, “the Platform”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address, username, and account role (Clipper or Buyer). You may optionally provide an avatar.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. We store transaction records including purchase amounts, platform fees, and clipper earnings. Clippers may provide a Solana wallet address for USDC payouts.
Content Data: We store video files uploaded by Clippers, clip metadata (title, format, tags, price), and clip request details submitted by Buyers.
Usage Data: We may collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, search queries, and device information.
We use your information to: operate and maintain the Platform; process transactions and payouts; display your public profile and content; send notifications about purchases and submissions; enforce our Terms of Service; improve the Platform and user experience; and communicate with you about your account.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
Service Providers: Stripe (payment processing). These providers have their own privacy policies governing your data.
Other Users: Your username and uploaded content are publicly visible. Your email address and wallet address are never shared publicly.
While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These are required for the Platform to function. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate information in your profile; delete your account and associated data; export your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent for optional data processing. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are retained for accounting and legal purposes. Uploaded content is retained until deleted by the Clipper or removed by the Platform. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
The Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete that information promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Platform with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
